Contested deletion
editThis page should not be speedily deleted because... (unreasonable information) --Jacob mccarter (talk) 14:04, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
Reopen deletion
editThis article really needs to be deleted or rewritten. It is full of opinion words and no source provided like "The next session was held by the Qamashi district criminal court unfairly and on a biased basis through strong pursuit and pressure" "The dictator of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov, who has been contaminating the life of Uzbek people, who had been drowning the country into an abyss in all aspects, who had been usurping the power personally deprived Bokhodir Choriyev of his citizenship of Uzbekistan. " "the “Birdamlik” PDM managed to hold their first Congress" There are many more. Also I can't find any decent sources at all. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Archersbobsburgers (talk • contribs) 15:51, 23 September 2018 (UTC)
Notability issue
editI am deleting that flag because the article does show signs of notability. (Anti-mono culture, anti-totalitarianism) There is however essentially no lede and initially this was my reaction also. I agree that it is almost unintelligible. However, as a denizen of WP:PNT, I am here to tell you that the system is broken and Russian speakers particularly are lacking. I will attempt *some* cleanup, and possibly re-list for copy-edit. I do not speak Russian, but maybe I can advance it a bit. No promises. Elinruby (talk) 21:28, 13 June 2021 (UTC)
Cleanup notes
edit- oblast does not appear to exist in Uzbekistan. Probably filtered through Russian. Leaving for now.
- A quick Google indicates that the government of Uzbekistan was in fact a kleptocracy at the time, so saying so may be no more than the truth. The language could however be less emotional and I will try to address that Elinruby (talk) 22:17, 13 June 2021 (UTC)
- OJSC seems to designate a business structure, probably a corporation, from the context. Since its unfamiliarity to English-speaking eyes impairs readabity, I am going to delete it where I see it. Noting here that I am doing this, in case I am wrong. Elinruby (talk) 22:27, 13 June 2021 (UTC)
