- Oppose: None of the references that I have spell it with two ls. I have found several inconsistencies with OSI mapping names and data, so anything found there or in print should be confirmed by another reliable source. If you look up the two spellings on the Placenames of Ireland Database you will see that while both show up and give the Irish name, only the spelling Baldonnel shows a location map and the spelling Baldonnell is listed as a street in Dublin. Any of the aviation sources, such as airport-data.com that use the Casement Aerodrome EIME airport code all spell it Baldonnel. Hold off for now as this require more research unless you can provide some rock solid sources. ww2censor (talk) 02:37, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- End. Have contacted the Defence Forces Information Officer. The correct spelling is Baldonnel. Jim no.6 (talk) 11:53, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
