These ships are a hybrid of the US Knox class Frigates, and the US Brooke Class Guided Missile Frigates. The SM/ tarter missile launcher is the same as on US Brooke Class Guided Missile Frigates. The Gun ASROC, propulsion and general hull form are the same as the Knox Class.
