I'm just a layman but while reading this article I came across some things I'm 90% sure are accidental mistakes.

In the 1590s, Dutch trade began to spread further into the Mediterranean and surpass that of Lübeck and Hamburg.
I'm pretty sure it was supposed to be the Baltic.
The Dutch and the Norse began to trade directly with the English and French and avoided Amsterdam as a main trading port.
