life-size?
editI think it's quite a bit smaller than a real horse and a real man, but can't find a reliable source at the moment. "Near life-size" would be more fitting, if I'm correct. --BjKa (talk) 15:32, 23 November 2016 (UTC)
- Heh, found it! My old history schoolbook says 3/4 life size. But I don't really trust this on such specific dretails. Since neither the German article nor the website of the church give a definitive size I'm removing "life size" from the lead. --BjKa (talk) 22:29, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
Image change?
editThe image used, like the vast majority of images of this statue have cut out the green man image completely--an unconscious alignment of the frame with the 'ground' under the horse, possibly.
I don't know how to change the image, but I found this: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/8/88/Der_Bamberger_Reiter.jpg/768px-Der_Bamberger_Reiter.jpg
Which shows the entire statue. Wizodd0 (talk) 20:18, 6 June 2017 (UTC)
