The calcium is actually deposited in the inner membrane of the cornea, on the Decemet's membrane. I doubt scraping off the calcium deposits is possible in the least bit. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.16.48.32 (talk) 18:41, 31 January 2011 (UTC)
- I had an operation that was described to be as "scraping" for this. But there were probably other details that I don't remember / my family and I didn't ask about. I was in my early teens. PaulBone (talk) 00:38, 20 October 2017 (UTC)
