Preceding constituencies
editIn the article I read and As created in 1983, the constituency was largely a replacement for East Aberdeenshire and Preceded by Banffshire. Perhaps, as created in 1983, Banff and Buchan covered parts of both of the former constituencies? Laurel Bush 11:16, 14 July 2007 (UTC).
- Yes. The previous constituency of Banffshire would have included Banff and the other parts of what is now Aberdeenshire district that were historically in Banffshire. The parts of Banffshire that are now in Moray district would have become part of the Moray constituency. East Aberdeenshire was split between Banff and Buchan constituency and Gordon constituency. Names
editI've found out how to prenounce Eilidh= Eilidh (Pronounced -Ay-lee-) Whiteford [[1]]) --Wipsenade (talk) 16:40, 9 January 2011 (UTC)
- OK :) - but following that standard we'll reproduce this five times if she wins till 2030. Agreed it might belong on her page but not sure it belongs on the constituency page. If it does surely the MP table is more appropiate? Crooked cottage (talk) 17:24, 9 January 2011 (UTC)

Banff & Buchan independence referendum result
editThere are a number of sources which indicate that Banff & Buchan voted in favour of independence in 2014, similar to the abundance of sources indicating that the area voted to Leave the EU in 2016. Why are contributors being selective in this regard? Brythones (talk) 22:29, 18 November 2017 (UTC)
