@Lawrence ruiz: Thanks for addressing the issues. I have marked the unresolved issues in bold for sections before "Tourism". And a problem here could be the limited coverage of the article after such a large portion has been deleted. Can something more be added to make up for it using credible sources? Sainsf <^>Feel at home 04:13, 23 March 2016 (UTC)
@Sainsf: You're welcome. It's quite difficult to add more sources about the topic at hand because not much has been written about it, especially on aspects of history, economics, demographics and geography. I will have to look for non-online sources such as books and other publications. For the meantime, let me address some of your questions in the review:
- Sitio - a smaller community unit which is part of a village (also known as a barangay). This is the equivalent of hamlet in English
- Jeepney - a mini-bus made out of old World War II jeeps, a common mode of transportation in the Philippines
I will address the other concerns after the Holy Week here in the Philippines (from March 24 to 27). Thanks. — Lawrence Ruiz (talk) 10:15, 23 March 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks Lawrence ruiz, I see your difficulty. Expanding the article is not a GA criteria, so take your time with it. I will link these two terms in the article. And do enjoy the Holy Week; we in India have Holi for us! Sainsf <^>Feel at home 10:31, 23 March 2016 (UTC)
- @Sainsf: I've already applied changes to the article based on your additional recommendations. Thanks! — Lawrence Ruiz (talk) 03:08, 29 March 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks Lawrence ruiz. But I see you added a paragraph on Climate without adding citations. Do not leave parts of the article unsourced, they may attract "citation needed" tags and challenge the verifiability. If you add the source for this, I would be pleased to promote the article. Great job! Sainsf <^>Feel at home 03:13, 29 March 2016 (UTC)
- Sainsf, I've already revised the portion on Banton's climate. Since Banton is part of Romblon, they have the same climate year round. Hence, I used the same references for Romblon in describing Banton's climate. — Lawrence Ruiz (talk) 04:36, 29 March 2016 (UTC)
Very well. All the issues have been resolved. No copyvio detected, sources look good. I am pleased to promote this. Well done! Sainsf <^>Feel at home 04:38, 29 March 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you, Sainsf for your thorough review and editing! This is an achievement for Banton, one of only two places in the Philippines with a Good Article in Wikipedia (the other being Manila). Hopefully, more places in the Philippines become Wikipedia Good Articles! — Lawrence Ruiz (talk) 05:04, 29 March 2016 (UTC)
- @Lawrence ruiz: I feel happy for Philippines, I would love to see more GAs and FAs from this nation in the future. Cheers! Sainsf <^>Feel at home 06:36, 29 March 2016 (UTC)
