New guidelines like WP:REDCAT stipulate the {{rcat}}'s placement on a new line below the #REDIRECT [[Target page name]] with a line of whitespace between the elements for readability in edit mode. Because Barack Hussein Obama is specifically used as an example in the guideline, it should conform to the letter of best practice. Therefor, where it appears in edit mode as:

#REDIRECT [[Barack Obama]]
{{R from full name}}

{{DEFAULTSORT:Obama, Barack Hussein}}

please copy-edit it to appear as:

#REDIRECT [[Barack Obama]]

Not done: The presence or absence of a blank line here has no effect on the rendered page: the emitted HTML is identical. It is therefore a purely cosmetic change, which is not a reason to raise an {{edit protected}} request. --Redrose64 (talk) 21:31, 16 May 2014 (UTC)
