editRemoved deletion request because of the following notability
- It is part of a series which is objectively notable/popular (viewers/revenue)
- From a notable creator/brand Mattel
- There is consistent high interest and traffic (200-300 people per day)
according to stats here http://stats.grok.se/en/201002/Barbie_in_A_Mermaid_Tale
- There are numerous wikipedia articles on related items
- The prod was added for the following reason: "Films that have not been confirmed by reliable sources to have commenced principal photography should not have their own articles. ... Additionally, films that have already begun shooting, but have not yet been publicly released (theatres or video), should not have their own articles unless the production itself is notable per the notability guidelines." (note that notability guidelines demand substantial coverage in independent reliable sources.) WP:NFF
- Yes, the series is notable. The future film by itself, however, is not.
- Yes, Mattel is notable. The future film by itself, however, is not.
- Traffic stats are moot. The future film by itself, however, is not notable.
- Yes, other stuff exists. The future film by itself, however, is not notable.
- You need to add independent reliable sources to the article. - SummerPhD (talk) 02:03, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
Advertising / Hidden advertising in the movie
editDo you know any citable study about the massive presence of advertising addressed to kids in this movie (both related to the Barbie franchise and to other brand like "Sephora")? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.39.253.43 (talk) 17:11, 3 September 2012 (UTC)
Plot section incomplete
editThe Plot section ends with a teaser instead of the actual end of the movie. It is usual in Wikipedia plot descriptions to "give away" the whole plot. Thank you. Lexein (talk) 22:57, 27 August 2019 (UTC)
