"Glaive polearm"?
editThe lead describes a bardiche as a "glaive polearm". A glaive consisted of a sword-like blade socketed to the end of a pole, whereas the bardiche is an axe-like blade socketed alongside a pole, like a voulge or Lochaber axe. The body of this article contradicts the lead's description and supports my contention.
