The arrest section is lousy with typos.

editAt this point the page is seriously deficient. There are 5 people who want to know about that name for every one who cares about football. The article should address how he got that moniker, not just who has that moniker.216.195.233.191 (talk) 21:01, 26 May 2012 (UTC)

Arrest BLP content challenged.
editI've removed this as a WP:BLP violation. Has not been convicted and there is no other impact reported, so it should stay out till there is a conviction. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 22:20, 10 July 2021 (UTC)
- I think you might be misunderstanding that policy. Nowhere in that policy does it say you can't mention an arrest. "For individuals who are not public figures; that is, individuals not covered by § Public figures, editors must seriously consider not including material—in any article—that suggests the person has committed, or is accused of having committed, a crime, unless a conviction has been secured." He is a public figure. Also, per WP:PUBLICFIGURE "If an allegation or incident is noteworthy, relevant, and well documented, it belongs in the article—even if it is negative and the subject dislikes all mention of it." The policy you mentioned applies for people who aren't public figures, so that's like if you or I got arrested for a crime it shouldn't be mentioned on Wikipedia until a conviction occurs, but the policy I mentioned specifically states it's ok to mention an arrest if the person is a public figure, which a professional athlete falls under.--Rockchalk717 23:24, 10 July 2021 (UTC)
- However, I've removed a very detailed account of the allegations contained in the complaint as BLP violations - they would be excessive even if convicted, and a warrant is an accusation, not a statement of facts. Acroterion (talk) 12:31, 12 July 2021 (UTC)
