I lived in Barrow, Shropshire at Barrow House for 8 years and my parents were there for probably 10 years. It is part of Lord Forester's Willey Estate.
Barrow is about 2 1/2 miles equidistant from Much Wenlock and Broseley - not near Telford and the Wrekin.
The population when I lived there was about 18-20, and certainly had not increased to 600+ when I returned in about 1998. There is nothing in Barrow except the farm for which Barrow House was the residence, about 6 Alms houses and houses for farm labourers; the one room school, the church opposite Barrow House and the cricket pitch through a small copse just below Barrow House.
