editA previous editor had moved this content to a new entry, entitled The Bandy Papers, on the grounds that Bartholomew Bandy is a fictional character and that the article should concentrate on real world things, but as there are plenty of fictional characters in Wikipedia there seems no sufficient reason to remove this one.
Reverted to the Bartholomew Bandy article from the Bandy Papers article again. If other editors have some rationale for eliminating the Bartholomew Bandy article, please explain it here. --156.34.45.85 (talk) 18:55, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

This article was originally listed under "Bartholomew Bandy". A later editor moved it to "The Bandy Papers", but there seemed no sufficient reason for changing the title, as there are many other fictional characters in Wikipedia. Also, any Bandy Papers material might be better listed under the author's page (Donald Jack), than on a page mostly concerned with the character's life history. So I've moved the article back to the title "Bartholomew Bandy", as there are many links in Wikipedia to Bartholomew Bandy, and few to The Bandy Papers, and the article is principally concerned with the biography of the character, not the book series.--Chignecto (talk) 20:07, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
