Family
edit"Gugy was married twice, leaving children by his first wife only." This is incorrect. By Mary McGrath, Gugy had a single daughter, Leila, who married a telegraphist, James Geggie of Québec. They went on to have five children of whom their eldest daughter, Lois, and their two sons, Conrad and Harold, had issue. Their descendants live around the globe from New Zealand to Victoria, B.C.--the long way. The pedigree was compiled first by Leila before the Great War, and revised and updated by her grandson, Philip Alfred Conrad Chaplin, in the 1980s. The pedigree is in the copyright deposit of Library and Archives Canada and available through the Ottawa Public Library. If that can be viewed as authoritative enough, I will revise the "Family" section.
