This is acceptable as a redirect to a related topic since Mars One is clearly his most well known project, but I think this guy is quite notable in his own right and should probably have his own article eventually.—Manicjedi (talk) (contribs) (templates) 11:32, 19 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Mars One is nothing but a nasty con to cheat would-be astronauts out of their money. The page should make this VERY VERY clear. These clowns are NOT going to Mars, and Mr Lansdorp is a despicable fraudster.137.205.183.82 (talk) 14:56, 17 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Although this may seem like a scam or fraud, whether or not it is, this is not a page for discussing it. Please do not edit the article to reflect opinionated fraud or scamming claims. That is vandalism, and the edit will be quickly reverted. If you have a problem with the article, please discuss it in the talk page, not the article. VTnav (talk) 23:58, 21 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I have a follow up on the post about vandalism. An edit to the article about fradualous activities is acceptable if it meets edit criteria. Please post a draft of the edit here or in your sandbox. Again, a section about scandalous activity that is PROVEN and not opinion based may be acceptable. Provide a link to your sandbox if you're going to post the draft there. VTnav (talk) 05:03, 22 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
If a lie is promulgated with enough bombast, the simple-minded masses will give it near inexhaustible benefit of the doubt. So I guess we will just have to wait out Mars One's own time line to establish that this is a scam going nowhere. But of course, as with end-of-days cults, there will be revisions of dates and postponements, and Bas will keep on milking it until he can retire the proceeds. Well done, mr even-handed!137.205.101.185 (talk) 07:49, 13 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
