Hi, re recent deletion of analysis of effect of not using p-values. Wikipedia requires references to be verifiable and relevant, not that they be peer reviewed. This blog entry is by an expert witness, open to scrutiny, as as relevant as other sources. Blogs of this nature are accepted along with newspapers etc. If there is a competing analysis, please cite it as well. Tim bates (talk) 20:33, 15 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hello,

The problem is there was no "analysis." There are a couple examples of cherry-picked articles, and an opinion based on them. There was no empirical evidence or other evidence based on data (e.g., a comparison between years before and after the ban) to back up the claim that BASP has "banned error control." So again, please don't refer to an "analysis of effect of not using p-values" when there was no such "analysis" performed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Louie Montero (talkcontribs) 16:56, 20 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
