This is work in progress - unfortunately I have been called away so I cannot add the rest of details. I will try later to update the rest.

Statements not followed by refs

edit

Statements that are removed for failure to have RS refs following them, such as these, can only be restored (per wp:burden) if you supply RS refs following the statements. If the editor restoring them believes that such refs exist -- either outside the article, or elsewhere in the article, the editor should insert the inline RS refs after the statements. Otherwise, the editor is editing in violation of wp:burden. And the re-addition is subject to revert. --Epeefleche (talk) 06:40, 11 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

If Epeefleche had bothered to carefully read the article, that statement had a ref further into the body of the article. Also, the statement that was deleted, that "The architect Sir Basil Spence worked on its design", was originally in the lede and had later been moved further down into the article. I have restored it to the lede. Content in the lede should just summarize content already in the body of the article and so does not require refs, the refs being found in the body of the article along side the full content. List of units

edit

I have deleted this following from the article (due to lack of sources and it being mostly OR, an opinion shared by all the editors contributing to the ongoing AfD discussion) and have placed it here instead. The information it contains is interesting and there are no suggestions that it is incorrect information. Someone who knows how to create separate archives should put it into an archive by itself, rather than leave it here. I do not know how to do this, sorry. Also, maybe some info from it, such as the anchor stores info, could be re-inserted into the article. Tiptoethrutheminefield (talk) 20:08, 11 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

If a navbox for Basildon District is needed, then it should be created as a template rather than as content in this article - though I see there's been thought no need for it at Basildon or Borough of Basildon. And when creating a template, as elsewhere, please check that all your links go to the right place: De La Salle School led to a disambiguation page before I fixed it just now. Thanks. Done. The article is very much a work in progress. Recently survived AfD where it attracted lots of editors pointing out what was wrong with it but 0 editors wishing to anything about it! Ulcerspar12 (talk) 16:43, 19 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
