editOne of the actual manga or just the OVA, the game shot is too small to get an idea of the series.
Okay, here comes a little info about Bastard!!.
Let's see what else anyone can post here.

2 Bastard!! articles
editThere are currently two Bastard!! articles, I'll try merging them on this page as the title is correct.
I should be able to do it before the end of the week. Or if anyone else feels like doing it, please go ahead :)

OK, I did a half-assed job :)
The page needs a lot of work...

Here's an idea from the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure article: where character's names are references to bands, link to the band. --72.138.133.124 05:20, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
Animation quality
editAnyone noticed that the animation quality changes every two episodes? Jigen III 15:58, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
I think it was because the series was an OVA series. There was I think a gap between releases of the episodes. Animation does change depending on whose drawing it...:)66.118.236.226 19:17, 25 June 2007 (UTC)

List source, please.
editWith regards to the entry under Characters about Lars/Rarz: "It is believed he may or may not have a crush on Dark Schneider, due to revelations in Volumes 13 and 14."
Where does that come from? What "revelations"? I've read volumes 13 and 14 and see no signs of this supposed 'crush'. Lars and DS were enemies. If anything, they are merely friends now since Lars realized the change in DS. They have a mutual respect for each other (well, maybe not so mutual on DS's end), that is all.
So please site your source. 00:59, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

"English Publication: Left to Right"
editI was just curious. All of the english releases are flipped from their original format to be real left to right? Or was it just those initial 4 releases which are the only ones with ISBN numbers in english listed on the page? I would just like some clarification, as I am ignorant on the matter. ryne11 1:47, 23 May 2007
When the manga first came out it was published left to right, the way Americans read :). Before they got to Vol either 5 or 6, they decided to re-release the manga in the correct reading format of right to left and then they published new material...However now the manga is starting to slow...Vol 15 is out now with Vol 16 expected to be released not until Jan of 08. I heard a rumor that the manga was being cancelled or slowed to compensate for Naruto being released in a rapid pace to catch up to the Japanese release but its only speculation for now66.118.236.226 19:15, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
Right then, Thank you ryne11 11:02, 1 July 2007
BASTARD!! ONLINE

- Sometime back in 2006 and probably never. Lando242 (talk) 09:03, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
ISBNs incorrect?
editI tried searching for some of the listed ISBNs and couldn't get any hits on them (did with others), in addition the numbers listed on the Viz site doesn't match the ones in the article. Anyone know which is correct? Lando242 (talk) 09:03, 19 June 2008 (UTC)

- Bastard!! → ? – Should be at Bastard!! The Destructive God of Darkness per WP:NATURAL disambiguation, or Bastard!! (manga). Single or double !! ?? etc are not enough to pass WP:CRITERIA for title recognisability. In ictu oculi (talk) 00:05, 19 October 2014 (UTC)
- weak support to Bastard!! (manga) or Bastard!! (manga character). The qualification will satisfy many readers curiosity leaving them in a better position to decide whether to open the page. "Bastard!! The Destructive God of Darkness" provides little additionally helpful information. Gregkaye ✍♪ 11:06, 20 October 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose - perfectly well-distinguished Red Slash 04:13, 22 October 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose - In this case, we must enforce WP:PRECISION and WP:CONCISE to justify a mere disambiguation by just "!!". Also, there are no other notable books called Bastard. If there are, "(manga)" may be added. --George Ho (talk) 21:45, 26 October 2014 (UTC)

Diano or Dianno
editI think the official spelling of Porno Dianno's name is Dianno not Diano. 103.27.223.1 (talk) 14:53, 28 October 2014 (UTC)
Issues with the article
editRegarding the Complete Edition: "In Complete Edition volume 2, Hagiwara went even farther, literally redrawing almost every character on every page, making it essentially into a new manga... Perhaps burned by low sales of Complete Edition, Hagiwara didn't redraw a single line in Complete Edition Volume 3": https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/house-of-1000-manga/2010-10-07 My source for the explanation of what is different and where it stops is the original source and the article as is misrepresents the Kanzenban release.
The official web release of the 2023 "reboot": https://tonarinoyj.jp/episode/4856001361535681698 This is near word for word with the 1987 pilot (and with that the pilot for the ONA). Not explaining what it is makes it look like a divergent remake. It´s not.
Proof that the 3 Vol Expansion Set hentai is real: http://www.hcomicbook.com/s/Bastard/ The credit page of chapter 136 of Vol 27 is further credited to Studio Loud In School if you want printed proof that Hagiwara took credit for his circle. Other wiki entries, such as the German one, also mention his porn. I mentioned the porn for exactly one reason. 2017´s Expansion Set 3 was the final time the author drew his manga, in a way, after a 7-year break.
Proof that Germany and France reached Vol 27: https://www.amazon.de/s?k=bastard+vol+27&__mk_de_DE=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&crid=208RKI3X2Y9SN&sprefix=bastard+vol+27%2Caps%2C118&ref=nb_sb_noss — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.64.147.229 (talk) 22:10, 19 August 2023 (UTC)
- I've reworded the Complete Edition part to stick more closely to what the source says. The problem with the content that you added is not whether it is truth or not, but the lack of references in the article to verify it. Remember WP:STICKTOSOURCE and don't go beyond what the sources explicitly say. In other countries they have probably published the current 27 volumes, but I don't think we need to include every country where the manga has been published with all its volumes so far, and I don't get why we should particularly mention Germany and France.
