Covers

edit

Need a bit on covers. For example Bastille covered Frank Oceans Thinkin About You. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.185.156.111 (talk) 15:37, 4 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

The cover was a B-side and therefore shouldn't be included on the discography page (see WP:DISCOGSTYLE). Information about it should be included in the "Laura Palmer" article. – Underneath-it-All (talk) 16:47, 4 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
Well, I noticed the FA-class Deftones discography does in fact list covers like this. One, they list all their B-Sides on the page, and they also split the B-Sides into cover sections and original material. Maybe we could think about adding that here? Bad Blood RIAA certification

edit

I found Bad Blood (as an album) was cited as Gold by RIAA. When I checked to see (because frankly, I didn't believe it) it said it was for a single, but the release date was not consistent with the single's date. The specified date was in May of 2013 (i Believe the 28th, but it doesn't matter), and that was after the album's date, while the release of the "Bad Blood" single was in August of 2012. I'm wondering whether this is a mistake on their part or if the single was released a lot later in America. I have since removed the confusing reference. What do you guys think? Should we move the certification down to the single or put it back on the album? DannyMusicEditor (talk) 15:01, 12 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
