Unsourced statement
Removed this phrase, until someone can confirm that it's actually relevant. Appears to be just vandalism (or sandbox-type editing). — SimonEast 02:55, 16 Jun 2005 (UTC)
"Bat Boy is currently the President of the United States, has placed Weekly World News columnist Ed Anger under arrest and is married to Beyonce Knowlés--a half sasquatch."
- I'm sure this has been resolved, but this, indeed, is in the context of the comic. Also, since Bat Boy is the President of the United States — shouldn't he be in the List of fictional U.S. Presidents? —Preceding unsigned comment added by DaemonDivinus (talk • contribs)
Merge the musical section
The excellent synopsis of the musical twice mentions Meredith and Dr. Parker having a terrible secret, but doesn't actually mention what the secret is. Can anyone help? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.215.226.60 (talk • contribs)
- No one has yet commented on moving the musical section, so I'm just going to do it. adavidw 12:00, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
This looks like inane babble
"Bat Boy is a non-fictional character whose antics often appears in the pages of the Weekly World News.
He is a medical anomaly, half human, half bat. As a result, he is often captured by, and/or escaping from various tormentors, many of whom are scientists, or associated with the United States government."
Is it really supposed to read like this? 24.181.29.106
Cleanup
I gave this a bit of cleanup and tightening, but it could use more. A bit too much hyperbole and tongue-in-cheek style. Jokestress 08:26, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
Boy Bat
There's no mention of Bat Boy's kin in this article. There should be. --thedemonhog 02:28, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
Sourcing
Hi. Is there a verifiable & reliable source for the statement that Bat Boy is fictional? --18.252.5.49 11:56, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, this article is blatantly pushing the viewpoint that Bat Boy does not exist. Yet quotes no WP:Reliable source to back up this viewpoint. Dlabtot 01:06, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
- The article should be neutral as to whether or not Bat Boy is a fictional character. There are many references in World Weekly News that he is a factual creature. If a possible fictional status is going to be entertained, then references must be cited. Macduff 04:42, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
- AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH. ehem. I mean. Of course, we should verify whether or not this is a factual creature. (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.6.51.86 (talk)

Is this serious?
I'm not certain if this page was subject to vandalism or if someone copied it from "uncyclopedia". The article is missing a few fiction statements... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mirage GSM (talk • contribs) 19:49, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Batchild.jpg
Image:Batchild.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
Removed apparent vandalism
I removed the following sentence from the Trivia section: "Notable fans of the musical include: Phil." —CKA3KA (Skazka) (talk) 19:18, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Batboy Steals MINI.jpg
The image Image:Batboy Steals MINI.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
- That this article is linked to from the image description page.
