Rewrite

I have made a short, stub-level rewrite of the article and feel that I should justify my reasons briefly here. The original stub was unsourced but, above all, appeared to be totally different from the version presented on French Wikipedia which seems much closer to what I've seen on the topic elsewhere - i.e. that the revolt was (or at least began as) a military mutiny.
