Kate Spencer

edit

Manhunter is going to be part of Streets of Gotham in a co-feature why don't you just put the Kate Specer section in this article it will make it longer and give it a picture. Also it will help improve the article. Also you should just combine them because this article needs to be longer and needs more information. When people type up Kate Spencer (comics) it should just take them to this article and say below Batman: Streets of Gotham redricted from Kate Spencer. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Schmeater (talkcontribs) 03:45, 17 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

I'm not sure what you mean. We already have an article for her at Manhunter (Kate Spencer) and Kate Spencer rightly redirects there (until such time as other Kate Spencers get their own articles). It would not make any sense redirecting "Kate Spencer" here.
Also this article doesn't necessarily need expanding much yet - the comic is still a month off and we only want to include what we can prove, which at this stage is very little. (Emperor (talk) 17:27, 17 May 2009 (UTC))Reply
Well maybe you could just add all of the information from there and put it there. You could have the information for her on both pages. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Schmeater (talkcontribs) 01:50, 26 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
No but what we could do is remove all information from her here and just link to her main article. Ridernyc (talk) 00:28, 27 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Reverting

edit

Stop reverting the edits they are all correct and all the info I have is from DCcomics.com

no stop trying to edit against consensus. Ridernyc (talk) 03:37, 27 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
Indeed. If you look at the version before my edits [1] there are:
  • Three images that aren't free for use in this article and have to be removed.
  • Two sections containing general information on Batman and Manhunter. There is no need for this (we don't do it on other articles) except as a way of filling out the article because we don't have much information at the moment.
As I've said, there is no deadline and we should wait for interviews to emerge (as they will in the run-up to the comics release) and the comics to be published, and there is no need to bulk out this article (and the Gotham City Sirens, where I removed similar material [2]) with filler.
Of course, if you aren't happy with this feel free to raise this as WT:CMC for other opinions. (Emperor (talk) 13:57, 27 May 2009 (UTC))Reply

Picture

edit

You really should get the cover art for issue 1 I mean the cover art of issues 2 and 3 have been shown and I've been bugging Emperor to get one on there so I really think somebody other than Emperor and Redernyc should do it.--Schmeater (talk) 21:51, 29 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Plot

edit

Are we going to have a panel by panel plot description of every issue? Seems to be getting very detailed and excessive. Ridernyc (talk) 00:38, 24 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

If the person who edit's it doesn't stop we will.--Stinkysoxmon (talk) 00:07, 19 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

At least improve the grammar. The sentences are run-on and very hard to figure out if you don’t already know the plot. Never assume your reader knows who your pronouns refer to- also use two shorter sentences rather than one long train of thought. Schissel | Sound the Note! 00:11, 9 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Story

edit

Now I don't wan't to start a edit war so I think it's just best if we leave the story there because the story of the series is connecting and will eventually lead into the two-part leviathan story written by Chris Yost and I guess we are going to write that down. --Schmeater (talk) 01:04, 9 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

It is important to stick to WP:WAF and WP:PLOT, so keep it brief and and out-of-universe. Try and draw more on the interviews for the ideas/planning behind the story. (Emperor (talk) 02:59, 15 September 2009 (UTC))Reply
I have read those but it does not really explain to me why we can't have section about the story that Dini is creating in a section called story? --Schmeater (talk) 18:51, 19 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
