Regarding how the track titles are handled

edit

Filmtracks's track titles really shouldn't be presented as the "primary" track titles. They aren't official, and in many cases, they differ significantly from the actual cue titles, as used by the complete score release.

I compiled a quick table to demonstrate this (which for some bizarre MediaWiki reason wants to go below my signature).

# Official title Complete score cue name-based title Filmtracks title Length
1 "Birth of a Penguin, Part I" "Birth of a Penguin" "Birth of a Penguin" 2:27
2 "Birth of a Penguin, Part II" "Main Titles" "Opening Titles" 3:09
3 "The Lair, Part I" "The Zoo" "To the Present" 0:57
4 "The Lair, Part II" "The Lair" "The Lair" 4:49
5 "Selina Transforms, Part I" "Kitty Party" "Selina Kyle" 1:11
6 "Selina Transforms, Part II" "Selina Transforms" "Selina Transforms" 4:16
7 "The Cemetery" "The Cemetery" "The Cemetery" 2:55
8 "Cat Suite" "Cat Suite" "Cat Suite" 5:42
9 "Batman Vs. the Circus" "Batman Vs. the Circus" "Batman Vs. the Circus" 2:35
10 "The Rise and Fall from Grace, Part I" "Penguin's Surprise" "The Rise..." 1:41
11 "The Rise and Fall from Grace, Part II" "Fall from Grace" "...And Fall from Grace" 4:08
12 "Sore Spots" "Sore Spots" "Sore Spots" 2:16
13 "Rooftops / Wild Ride, Part I" "Roof Top Encounters" "Rooftops" 4:19
14 "Rooftops / Wild Ride, Part II" "Batman's Wild Ride" "Wild Ride" 3:34
15 "The Children's Hour" "The Children's Hour" "The Children's Hour" 1:47
16 "The Final Confrontation, Part I" "War" "The Final Confrontation" 5:12
17 "The Final Confrontation, Part II" "Final Confrontation" "Penguin Army" 4:54
18 "The Finale, Part I" "Finale" "Selina's Electrocution" 2:40
19 "The Finale, Part II" "A Shadow of Doubt" "The Finale" 2:19
20 "End Credits" "End Credits" "End Credits" 4:42
21 "Face to Face" "Face to Face" "Face to Face" 4:17

While it is certainly notable that there was negative reception towards the track titles, I do not believe alternative unofficial titles should be listed. Ideally, only the official titles should be listed (using the album template), with a note at the end about the negative reception towards the track naming.
