Đức Cơ, rather than Duc Co

edit

Is there any value in English Wikipedia having an article title that is not pronounceable?
What exactly is the point?

Claim of collateral damage

edit

This claim should not be in the article since the cited source may have used Wikipedia as a source (the website A Bicyclette cited has only been around since 2014), and the claim has been in the article since 2011. Second, it is unrelated - the original source of the claim on the Internet is "August 9, 1966 - U.S. jets attack two South Vietnamese villages by mistake, killing 63 civilians and wounding over 100." [1] without mentioning this battle. Since there were likely a large number of airstrikes on that day, and the US reports of this action do not refer to calling in the "fast movers" (jet fighters), I do not think it should be include. Lastly, there is no evidence that the "villages" are Duc Co or close to Duc Co. Kges1901 (talk) 09:13, 12 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
