The airport is not listed as João Paulo II anywhere.
The airport's own website calls itself simply Ponta Delgada, and has no mention of João Paulo.
Template:Regions of Portugal: statistical (NUTS3) subregions and intercommunal entities are confused; they are not the same in all regions, and should be sublisted separately in each region: intermunicipal entities are sometimes larger and split by subregions (e.g. the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon has two subregions), some intercommunal entities are containing only parts of subregions. All subregions should be listed explicitly and not assume they are only intermunicipal entities (which accessorily are not statistic subdivisions but real administrative entities, so they should be listed below, probably using a smaller font: we can safely eliminate the subgrouping by type of intermunicipal entity from this box).

On the Antonio´s Army were also many released Prisioners and Slaves, because mostly of the Army: the majority of Soldiers of Portuguese terços and Castilians, Germans, Italians, British included and its Oficials and nobles on Portuguese army of 1578 in Alcacer Kibir were lost or yet in Morocco in 1580-83 and for some years after - many of them would know the freedom in Philip times.
In the Duque de Alba´s Army were included on tercios Italians, Germans, Castillians, Polonese etc. A Polonese soldier talk about them and made a relate of the expedition to Lisbon by sea. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.113.163.75 (talk) 11:22, 8 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
The above message is referring to the diary of Erich Steblovo, a Polish soldier who joined up with the Spanish army before their invasion of Portugal. His diary, originally written in Polish, was translated into German and subsequently into Spanish. This Spanish version was reprinted in Archivo dos Açores, Vol. III, beginning on page 229.
