The Marker in Callahan says that "American" casualties were 9 and "British" casualties were 5. "American" and "British" are in quotes because of the fluidity of these terms at this particular time and place. Most of the "British" soldiers in this skirmish were from Georgia, most of the "American" soldiers in this engagement referred to themselves as "British" for most of their lives, "American" identity coming into solid fruition during this conflict, not beforehand. Nonetheless the precise quote on the marker is "CASUALTIES. American: 9 British: 5"
