All accounts mention mounted Rangers when there were no mounted units mustered into service in Minnesota until after this Battle. I added the unbalanced tag to this article as it lacks motivation or explanation for attacks by the Dakota people or any sort of "aftermath" that pertains to them. This conflict had two sides and only one side is represented here. oncamera (talk page)11:17, 11 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
