editAs requested, I've looked thru the article. Not an expert copyeditor, or even a content person, so feel free to ignore advice and revert if it doesn't make sense. I'm just keeping a running list here; feel free to cross out or delete items when they're dealt with, or you decide they can be ignored.
- Some editorializing seems to have snuck in, so I tweaked phrasing in places. Revert me if I ruined the meaning.
I was about to wikilink Blanco Canyon, but am now confused whether this canyon is on the White river or the Brazos; the article Blanco Canyon is on the White. You might want to look into a bit and see if it is the same, or different.Figured it out, although evidently there is no article on White River (Texas) yet. So do I undertand right that the White River runs thru Blanco Canyon, but that it is also near the headwaters of the Freshwater Fork of the Brazos?- Someone better than me at references and citations should take a look at the reference formatting. I think if you give a reference a name, you only need to use that name from then on, not repeat the web adddress each time. Also, you would just use {{reflist}} in the "References" section instead of re-writing the reference names. Also, I just don't know ref formatting well, but there seem to be a couple of extraneous </cite> tags in a couple of places; do they belong? I should probably learn that someday.
That's all I have. Interesting stuff, thanks for putting it together. --barneca (talk) 16:36, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
- barneca (talk) Your help was greatly appreciated! I will be posting another new article late in the week, and if you have time, I would greatly appreciate your keen editorial eye helping with that one also - you catch things I miss! JohninMaryland (talk) 15:53, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
