Talk:Battle of Crucifix Hill

Latest comment: 8 years ago by InternetArchiveBot in topic External links modified

I added the stub because the context of this action is almost totally missing. Just reading what should have been the primary source for this instead of the war-gaming sites, the battle is but one in a series by the 18th Infantry. If I have time I will contribute to this, but my attention was drawn by the did-you-know, and the thrust of the article was about an individual even though the article is about a battle. Needs work and seems a worthy topic.--Buckboard 22:05, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Volksgrenadier?

edit

My German is virtually non-existent, but I wonder: would the defending unit perhaps be a Volksgrenadier division instead of a Volks Grenadier division? Nyttend 23:40, 28 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Sounds good to me. The source had it split into zwei words and it never occurred to me that I hadn't see in that way either. --Buckboard 10:38, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
