I have added an additional clash to the disambiguation page to reflect the fact that the Sherman monument in Washington commemorates "Dalton" as a battle before "Resaca." This seems to refer to the May 1864 clash at or near Dalton, yet this disambiguation page skips over the matter. Hal Jespersen has suggested that "First Battle of Dalton" and "Second Battle of Dalton" should remain as is. See discussion page for Second Battle of Dalton.
