I'm confused as to the motivations behind the constant reverting of this page by a certain number of users and sock puppets. ZemenfesKidus I do not understand why you're confused. I've been combating sock puppets and their edits for more than a year now. Walkerdude7 I've been dealing with him for months now and on this page, I and one of the moderators have undid both of his revisions from both accounts. [1] and [2] When dealing with sock puppets, you also remove their information it doesn't matter if it's right or wrong. The problem is they're distributive and if you wish to add something, you can't be using the sock puppets revision. It's that simple. Ayaltimo (talk) 15:33, 05 March 2022 (UTC)

You should go back and check the history of the page and all of my edits. I didn't revert any of the sock puppets edits but instead added information I found on my own and included new references. I also removed the inclusion of incorrect information by one of those sockpuppets about an attack on Zeila, which had not served as the capital of a state in a while, and was not the capital of the Adal sultanate, because it was unsourced and ethnicized the medieval conflict (which I dislike).

ZemenfesKidus Yet when I removed the revision, you still attempted to revert it back a couple of time not realizing your mistake. This is Walkerdude7 (Sock puppet) revision [3] and this is yours [4]. I get that yours was slightly edited with little more additions but you're working it from a sock puppet revision. I understand you're new to Wikipedia but please before you engage in editing, you must always follow the rules because simple things like this can get you banned.
