The plaque says July 7, 1742 but it was changed to July 18. I think this is a difference in the Old Style and New Style dates. The change occurred in 1752. It was July 7 by their calendar but July 18 by ours. Bubba73 ^{(You talkin' to me?)}, 18:22, 11 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
