I can't confirm directly, but, since the battle occurred during a withdrawal from Borazjan to Bushehr (both in modern Bushehr area), it seems unlikely that the battle could have occurred in the Kushab district in the Punjab, or anywhere else in Pakistan. Can anyone locate alternative possibilities called Kushab? Willhsmit (talk) 00:31, 9 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
The battle took place in modern Iran, a few miles east of Bushehr, not Pakistan. At the time the area was part of Fars Province but is now Bushehr Province. See E.W. Sheppard's 'A Short History of the British Army' or Ian Hernon's 'Britain's Forgotten Wars' for a more detailed analysis of the campaign. I would reference in the article but I don't know how.
