I'll get to this shortly.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 14:39, 25 January 2020 (UTC)
- @Sturmvogel 66: Not rushing you, just making sure you hadn't forgotten this one. Harrias talk 12:42, 5 February 2020 (UTC)
- The article really needs a plan of Leeds, if you are describing the action on a street-by-street basis Monstrelet (talk) 09:18, 27 January 2020 (UTC)
- @Monstrelet: I agree; I'm in the process of creating one (the only PD maps of Leeds are too early or too late), but it's a relatively long process for me, as I only have the software on my home PC, which because of where it is, I only have limited access to. I don't think such a map is necessary at GA level, but I would expect to have it in place before a potential A-class nomination. Harrias talk 12:42, 5 February 2020 (UTC)
- No DABs, external links OK
- Images appropriately licensed.
- Link Piercebridge, York, Vale of York
- Added links for each. Harrias talk 18:15, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
- With 1,500 infantry and 500 cavalry, Savile took Leeds and Wakefield without a fight, but had to split off a portion of his force to attempt to capture Bradford on 18 December, but was repelled. Awkward with the double "but"s
- Rephrased to "With 1,500 infantry and 500 cavalry, Savile took Leeds and Wakefield without a fight, but had to split off a portion of his force to attempt to capture Bradford on 18 December, where he was repelled." How is that? Harrias talk 18:15, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
- Comma after Fairfax
- three cavalry troops
and120 dragoons with- I disagree, as that makes it sound like the 120 dragoons were part of the three cavalry troops, but they are distinct groups. Harrias talk 18:15, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
- OK, that wasn't clear. I tend to conflate cavalry and dragoons despite knowing the difference as I served in the US 1st Cavalry Regiment, aka the First Regiment of Dragoons. So I'd suggest then switching the units so people don't think the dragoons are part of the cavalry. So "120 dragoons and 3 troops of cavalry".--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 14:03, 11 February 2020 (UTC)

- Carpenter
describedthat Lord Fairfax believed- Changed as suggested. Harrias talk 18:15, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
- Who is Schofield?
- Added an explanation, let me know if more is needed. Harrias talk 18:15, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
- Add a link to Halifax and do you mean "nearby Halifax" or that he was from the area around Halifax?--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 14:03, 11 February 2020 (UTC)
- Halifax is already linked in the Prelude section. I have tried to clarify this a bit further, by specifying "Schofield, a minister from a chapel near Halifax serving with the Parliamentarians, led.." How is that? Harrias talk 14:10, 11 February 2020 (UTC)
- Sorry, I'd missed the link. The expansion works for me.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 14:50, 11 February 2020 (UTC)

- A map would be nice, but I agree not essential at this level.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 02:24, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks for your review Sturmvogel 66. I have responded to each point above. Harrias talk 18:15, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
