How many musketeers were there?

edit

These figures under "Battle" don't make sense: Portuguese records estimate that there were only 50 musketeers and 100 residents capable of bearing arms .. About 150 Portuguese musketeers entrenched at the beach. Jpatokal (talk) 04:42, 10 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Why is this the only battle between two European powers on the Chinese mainland?

edit

Saying that the 1622 Battle of Macau was the only battle between two European powers on the Chinese mainland ignores the 1914 Siege of Tsingtao.--匿名パルチザン (talk) 13:55, 15 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

The British contingent in Tsingtao were secondary to the Japanese army, if I were to take a guess why C. R. Boxer wrote it like that, if Tsingtao even crossed his mind. _dk (talk) 23:06, 15 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
