- Battle of Santiago (disambiguation) → Battle of Santiago
- Battle of Santiago → Battle of Santiago (1962 FIFA World Cup)
– There is no primary topic. usage in Google Books doesn't show that [redirect] Battle of Santiago (1838) is always disambiguated by "de Cuba" or "Santiago Bay", nor show that the 1962 game outweighs 3 different naval battles. Regarding (parenthetical dab) several options to create something cryptic and misleading, but Category:FIFA World Cup matches suggests (1962 FIFA World Cup) as consistent with category and recognizable to readers and hopefully acceptable to both WP Military history and WP Football editors. - Support per nom; thre's also Battle of Santiago (1844) on Hispaniola and Siege of Santiago on Cuba -- 65.94.171.126 (talk) 04:33, 29 June 2014 (UTC)
- Support. Too many options, and no clear primary topic. Steel1943 (talk) 14:43, 30 June 2014 (UTC)
- Support - football match clearly is not a primary topic for this title.--Staberinde (talk) 16:34, 4 July 2014 (UTC)
- Strong and speedy support and a tip of the hat to In ictu oculi for finding this. Red Slash 21:02, 4 July 2014 (UTC)
- Strong support Good heavens, a soccer match should never be the PRIMARYTOPIC over actual historical armed conflicts. There was a bit of a mess on the disambiguation page regarding Battle of Santiago (1838), which redirects to the battle fought in 1898, which I think I've cleared up now.
