Should result field in Template:Infobox_military_conflict include final outcome only or other intermediate results that are not part of final outcome/don't necessarily hold as part of end result? Example:

result=

- Army A besieges city B on date X

- Offense stalled on date Y

- Army A captures city B on date Z

versus

result=

- Army A captures city B on date Z.

Some example pages that include intermediate results: Siege_of_Kobanî, Second Battle of Tikrit (March–April 2015), battles generally edited by same author(s). • Comment:@LightandDark2000: result field of Template:Infobox_military_conflict defined to include final outcome and not other intermediate results that are not part of outcome/don't necessarily hold. Please see battles not edited by you for examples: Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:Infobox_military_conflict&limit=500, please do not add any intermediate results as outcome till conclusion of this WP:RFC.
