Please check for accuracy
editI've done my best to translate the existing text into native-speaker's English: I am not an expert on the period and would appreciate double-checking to make sure that the original wording actually meant what I thought it did!
I left the sentence "It is likely that the warriors of Clovis were less likely than the Alemanni" unchanged because I have no idea from the context what is meant by the second 'likely', although this is evidently not what was literally intended here. Igenlode (talk) 02:34, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
Conversion from what?
editIt's not clear what Clovis was converting from. The same section has references about Arianism, did he convert from native Germanic religion? 88.159.71.34 (talk) 16:14, 9 February 2014 (UTC)
He was an Arian. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 214.25.29.6 (talk) 15:52, 22 December 2016 (UTC)
- Bitte einen Beleg angeben. Die fromme Legende des Bischofs redet von "sterblichen Göttern" (im Plural). Daß damit Arianismus gemeint sein könnte, ist sehr fraglich und deswegen ist eine solche Behauptung ohne Beleg wertlos. 2A02:908:1871:6560:9CB1:5F77:B8C3:25B2 (talk) 19:08, 22 November 2022 (UTC)
