raising street level
editIs it really 12-18 feet or 12-18 inches in the sentence below from the article?
"During the mid to late 1800s, some streets in Bay Village were raised 12-18 feet as the South End and Back Bay were created by continued landfill" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 387mqr (talk • contribs) 10:22, 25 May 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, really, the historical signs in the area say so. SethTisue (talk) 13:41, 5 June 2009 (UTC)
unknown or not known as a separate neighborhood?
editIn my experience, most people think that the area officially recognized as Bay Village is part of the South End. Thus, the area is not "unknown" but misidentified. 75.150.74.243 (talk) 04:42, 12 October 2010 (UTC)Larry Siegel
Smallest or not?
editThis page says that Bay Village is the second smallest of the neighborhoods in Boston, while Neighborhoods in Boston says that it is the smallest. Which is it? 24.218.145.110 (talk) 23:16, 2 November 2012 (UTC)

No one
editHas the slightest idea of where the places you mention, let alone the main topic of the article, are. I gather they're somewhere in Boston.
For literally the many dozenth time, I came to Wiki to see the most basic possible element of a factual presentation, and it's missing. After the article's been online for 16 years.
A map.
And just in case that word is unclear to you: one which shows the complete, official, enclosing boundary lines of the neighborhood. You should also label thereon every, or at least most, places and things you mention.
At the same time, I find Wikipedia's grading and editorial banners not always accurate. To me the article looks solid enough to warrant a 'B', not 'C', grade.
