Definition is a bit theoretical

edit

An example would be nice, otherwise probably fine. 2001:4643:E6E3:0:F12E:681B:A94D:9196 (talk) 18:51, 2 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Its not fine. The only people who can understand this are the people who already understand it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.97.199.253 (talk) 04:24, 22 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Proof is a problem

edit

Unexplained and undefined in the proof. Difficult to verify or understand without much context. 2001:4643:E6E3:0:F12E:681B:A94D:9196 (talk) 20:14, 2 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Prior

edit

If this is a "Bayes" classifier then I would have thought there should be a prior distribution for P(Y=r) which is updated by P(X=x|Y=r) to give a posterior distribution P(Y=r|X=x) and then the argmax is found as the prediction. But I do not see that. 2A00:23C6:148A:9B01:69BD:1474:DC0A:9723 (talk) 11:23, 24 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
