- Oppose non-English given name is not shown to be the primary topic of the term "Bayu" in 'ENGLISH'. A cursory web search does not show that the given name is prominent in English. Indeed, English Wiktionary does not even have an entry for wikt:en:Bayu as a name, only the non-English word wikt:en:bayu. Indeed the more likely forms are the Philippine "bayu" word or having this name rendered in a South Asian form or Malaysian form instead of Indonesian, as both Philippines or India/Pakistan/Bangladesh/SriLanka and Malaysia/Singapore have English as a local language, whereas Indonesia does not. -- 67.70.25.80 (talk) 06:48, 25 August 2023 (UTC)

- Comment - User:Bayu Oktarino, could you please explain why you believe this article is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC? Wikishovel (talk) 08:16, 25 August 2023 (UTC)
- At first I thought like that because in my country "Bayu" exclusively refers to names. But it seems I'm wrong here after a few points made by you or other users. I really appreciate you guys, and I'll be closing this discussion. Bayu Oktarino (talk) 08:54, 25 August 2023 (UTC)
Name page use
editAre the non-Indonesian uses actually related to the Indonesian term as implied by the intro section? If not, they should be deleted from this name page, and moved to the disambiguation pages Bayou (disambiguation) and Bayu (disambiguation). The African and European uses do not seem related to the nominal topic of this article, an Indonesian given name. The surname "Bayou" is included here for what reason? The biographies show no links to South Asia or Southeast Asia -- 67.70.25.80 (talk) 06:59, 25 August 2023 (UTC)
