Note of the connections and similarities section

Hi, I'm the one made the section and I expect there might be some disagreement. If so please discuss it with me here first. And I only saw two movies but no books, so if you feel anything that needs to be corrected based on what you know, you are welcome to do so. I also pull some contents out of the trivia section to be part of this new section. If you feel something missing in trivia, you may need to check it in the section I made. --Mato Rei 17:43, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

Holy cow

Holy cow this movie blew! unsigned comment by User:24.254.212.129

I agree. The novel was so much better. Hollywood botched Elmore Leonard's writing. (Ibaranoff24 03:33, 18 January 2006 (UTC))

Differences between book and film?

I think there should be a section on the differences between the book and the film. What do you folks think? (Ibaranoff24 03:33, 18 January 2006 (UTC))

Elliot's gay?

He's gay...what's the proof? Is it at the end of the movie? Le Raine

Only the testimonies from other characters in movie. But since none of them questions it, so do most of we audiences. --Mato Rei 17:43, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

The real Chili Palmer

I think some thought should be given to the real Chili Palmer! He is Ernest "Chili" Palmer a childhood friend of Elmore Leonard from Brooklyn who later became a loan shark and actually used the famous "look at me" line when he would have to collect on debt. The real Chili Palmer is now 69 years old, bed ridden in his home in Miami unable to walk for the last three years after quadruple bipass surgery and 3 strokes living of $900 a month on social security, while all involved in the movie have made millions of his name and identity, including but not limited too John Travolta which I'm sure made over 15 million for this movie. This is a sad case as when they were producing this film no monetary compensation was or has been given to Ernest "Chili" Palmer.

Latina!?

I think not! The actor playing Moon is a Afro-Cuban (Christina Milian) and "Moon" is not a Latino name. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.211.255.205 (talk) 23:18, August 21, 2007 (UTC)

Grammar and Wording

The language in this article, particularly in the comparisons section does not come close to meeting Wikipedia standards. Furthermore, there shouldn't be two "plot" sections. I'll do some work on this when I have time but in the interim I could encourage anyone with an acceptable command of the english language to go right ahead! Iamandrewssoul

Who wrote "self-irony"? I know the average Wikipedian has a room temperature IQ but I wish they'd avoid raping the English language.

Soundtrack

Would anyone happen to know the song from the scene in the strip club??? i have tried "Ooh La La" but that does not seem to be it. Would be great as it is such a hard track to get hold of. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.3.149.166 (talk) 17:08, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
