Article name
editIs there a particular reason why this article is called "Bead Hill archaeological site" rather than just "Bead Hill". It doesn't appear that the words "archaeological site" are part of the site's name, officially or otherwise, and they are more of a description than anything. A Wikipedia and Google search does not suggest that there are any other Bead Hills that could possibly compete for the article title (although if disambiguation were required, I would have thought we'd go with "Bead Hill (archaeological site)" as per our normal practices). We don't typically use the article title to describe the article subject (e.g. Casa Loma gothic revival mansion or Air Canada Centre arena), but maybe I am missing something here. --Skeezix1000 (talk) 15:12, 16 January 2015 (UTC)
- I see from the article history that the "archaeological site" wording was added to the title during the move from WP:AFC to the article namespace. No explanation was provided (that's not a criticism). Given that none of the editors who substantively created and expanded the article chose the "Bead Hill archaeological site" title, and that I've not gotten response to my note above, I have been bold and moved the article. --Skeezix1000 (talk) 21:58, 19 January 2015 (UTC)
