You could make clear that this will not happen any time soon. There is no orbiter in 2009. There is no such thing on ExoMars scheduled for 2011 and the following European Mars mission (ExoMars 2 ?) will be some time after 2011.Hektor12:28, 17 March 2006 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for your addition Hektor. As Wikipedia is free to use, perhaps it would be best if you made these amendments yourself. I constructed this page with information I had available at the time. Thanks, Ralphybaby16:14, 20 March 2006 (UTC)Reply
Nowhere here I placed ad hominem insults. I simply thinks that Pillinger it at least partly responsible for faliure of original Beagle 2. MaDeR. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.51.70.116 (talk) 12:47, August 24, 2007 (UTC)

Are we going to wait for 2009 to write that this mission is not happening ? Next European mission to Mars is ExoMars currently scheduled for 2013 - and 2013 does not look likely in fact. Hektor12:18, 11 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
It certainly looks like it is not going to happen. The Beagle 2 resource website [1] frzen on 2003, refers the readers to visit a site called "PPARC press releases" which is a dead link: [2]. Still I have not seen an official note of cancelation. BatteryIncluded (talk) 05:30, 16 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
