Untitled
editBeaker Street was followed at 2 AM Central by Beaker Theater. This show featured fantasy and science fiction radio drama. It was much appreciated by the heads of the hinterlands.
- Beaker Street - and Theater - was what we tuned into coming home from gigs. It helped keep us awake for the drive home (well, the driver anyway). The impact here in Iowa was the real deal, so to speak. KAAY/Beaker St. notoriety spread by word of mouth as we discovered this "cool, new station in Arkansas." It was one of the very few stations at the time where one could hear cuts from new albums that weren't played anywhere else. Love Like a Man from the Cricklewood Green album (TYA) sticks in my head of one example.THX1136 (talk) 19:15, 13 March 2018 (UTC)
