Martin and Sonia
editAre still married so can this this be reflected to change that on the family tree? Arjoccolenty (talk) 00:31, 30 March 2011 (UTC)
- Yep I'm doing it now. –anemoneprojectors– 08:46, 30 March 2011 (UTC)
Get your facts right!
editLook, in the Beale and Branning family pages it rightly includes Whitney Dean as a member seeing as she was adopted by Bianca. It includes Jay Brown, in the Mitchell family page (and on the family tree) because he was fostered by Billy and changed his name to Mitchell. Why on earth are Simon and Steven not included in the Beale family page. Simon always considered himself to be a Beale until it was revealed that Brian Wicks is probably his father, not Pete or Kenny. But he was adopted by Pete, he was seen as Beale even during Lou's funeral. Steven Beale was actually adopted by Ian, why isn't he included? I think we have some very bizarre people editing pages, who clearly have not watched the show or are deeply inconsistent. By the way, Beale's Plaice was actually Peter's Plaice when Cindy kidnapped Steven and Peter. Kathy opened the new fish shop and they offered free fish and chips and alcohol to people who came. Watch it, if you are silly enough to change a vitally important and accurate fact.--86.183.195.212 (talk) 18:35, 30 December 2012 (UTC)
- Did you know that because something is included in one article, it doesn't mean it should be included in others? Yes we do want consistency, but that's not a good enough reason, as it's possible that the information should be removed from those pages rather than information added to others. But I do agree that adopted children should be included, meaning Steven should be included as I do think he was probably adopted by Ian. Once again you are insulting editors of Wikipedia! You'll get yourself blocked again, you've been warned on your talk page now. If Pete always thought Simon was his own son, why would he have legally adopted him? –anemoneprojectors::– 13:49, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
- Firstly, the first few sentences of your rant did not make any sense and I am beginning to question your knowledge about EastEnders. When did you first start watching the show? The fact is you lack consistency and logic. As for Simon Wicks, he was adopted in fact as far as the Beales were concerned, he was Pete's son. Pete believed that Simon was his, Simon only took Brian's name because he was Pat's son. It is shocking you do not know this. And for all the time he was on The Square, Simon always considered the Beales as family. He kept on calling Pete 'Dad', Pauline was always 'Auntie Pauline', Arthur was always 'Uncle Arthur' and Lou was always 'Gran' - he was born Simon Beale. Seriously, and I say this with all due respect, if you do not know basic information about the show then you should not be involved in editing about EastEnders.--86.151.240.132 (talk) 21:45, 3 January 2013 (UTC)
- Ahh so your back to abuse and be nasty to people again? I feel another block coming on... Bleaney (talk) 21:49, 3 January 2013 (UTC)
- Explain how that comment is nasty, it is my opinion and I have the right to voice my opinion - it is called freedom of speech. It is remarkable that you cannot actually engage with the substance of argument at all - rather worrying. Anyway, I am pretty sure that threatening people is also against Wikipedia's guidelines. Perhaps you should stop being a hypocrite and apologise.--86.151.240.132 (talk) 23:59, 3 January 2013 (UTC)
- You're being rude again by saying things like "The fact is you lack consistency and logic", "It is shocking you do not know this" and your last comment. Comment on the article, not the editors please. I just removed a warning from your talk page but I'm starting to regret that after reading this. –anemoneprojectors– 09:23, 4 January 2013 (UTC)

Who's Dolly Beale?
editWho is and where does Dolly Beale fit into the Beale family tree? I haven't heard her mentioned in any episodes. Is she real or was she just invented in the back of someone's head? Kenneth Beale was mentioned as Albert's father in Civvy Street, but there was no mention then of Dolly. When was she mentioned? And who by? - Clements1997.
- I'm going to get rid of her. –anemoneprojectors– 18:42, 5 August 2014 (UTC)
- In Albert Beale's character profile, there was a mention of a Dolly Beale 96.238.63.200 (talk) 21:34, 14 January 2015 (UTC)
Cindy williams jr
editCindy does not have a right to be included in the family tree as Ian's stepdaughter since her Ian had divorced her mum by the time she was born and Ian was no longer married to her so he had no rights over her as a step father, Ian is now married to jane so any stepdad/stepdaughter link is no longer there, He has no biological link with her unlike Steven who Ian was stepdad to whilst being married to his mum Cindy and Ian had accepted him as his own son and Steven grew up calling him dad. plus Cindy grew up with gina who became and is still her legal guardian. It is why Ian regularly contacted her when he didn't want Cindy around as she is the guardian and is responsible for Cindy and not Ian himself. Crystal30003 (talk) 08:36, 7 September 2015 (UTC)
- I'm inclined to agree, though she is considered a part of the Beale family, as Babe Smith is considered part of the Carter family. –anemoneprojectors– 13:26, 7 September 2015 (UTC)
Yes that is because babe is the sister of Shirley's mum who is also micks grandma. Whereas cindy williams has no link whatsoever as a beale apart from having lucy and peter as half siblings. Any links with cindy is with her mums family and fathers family. Crystal30003 (talk) 09:37, 8 September 2015 (UTC)
- Babe is the sister of Stan Carter's wife. Cindy is the daughter of Ian Beale's wife. There's not really a difference. Both are the relative of a family member's wife, both are considered part of that family. –anemoneprojectors– 15:36, 8 September 2015 (UTC)
Then where is steven beale? Considering ian was actually his stepfather unlike cindy. Crystal30003 (talk) 15:57, 8 September 2015 (UTC)
- Like Cindy, he is mentioned throughout the article, but is not part of the tree. –anemoneprojectors– 16:50, 8 September 2015 (UTC)
Inclusion of characters from the novels
editI don't think the characters from the novels should be included or considered canon. Norma Beale was mentioned more than once in the 80s and was even referenced, though not by name, in 2006 when Pauline married Joe. Dora however comes from the novels and has never been mentioned in the show or in Civvy Street. Surely Wikipedia should go with the name actually used on the show and not one in a debatably non-canon novel? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.185.98.228 (talk) 15:45, 14 April 2018 (UTC)
Storylines section
editThis section is way too long and has just got longer. The section should be removed completely and in it's place should be a fully-sourced development seciton. See Slater family (EastEnders) for a perfect example. — 🌼📽️AnemoneProjectors💬 00:12, 21 December 2018 (UTC)
Roger and Tina
editIn episode 163 (9 September 1986) Arthur mentions Pauline's cousin, Roger, whose daughter is Tina. I thought I'd mention it here because we wouldn't know if they are on Lou's side or Albert's. — 🌼📽️AnemoneProjectors💬 12:13, 24 December 2018 (UTC)
