Would anyone mind if we made this page a disambiguation page and moved the article on Beate Uhse-Rotermund to a seperate article? I think the company is a lot better known than its founder outside of Germany.

"Tauchschein" does not mean "..to be baptized". It's simply a "diver licence" (not driver licence). She got one at age 75. :) 193.174.254.312:21, 4 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

the article contradicts itself in several places (time/age - do the math)
husband died in '44 (not '45) and she never flew Me 262, but she was assigned (apparently) to go on such a squadron; scheduled in between late March or April 1945
flew a 4-passenger airplane out of Berlin with son&nanny and two (OR four plus another infant) into British-occupied territory
information gathered from internet, e.g. WiKi-dot-de (German) and the 2011 biopic, starring Franka Potente
"precision"?? "information ´gathered´ from internet and biopic"?? Oh, dear. Of course she flew the 262. SOURCE: Her own Flightbook! April, 19, 1945, 3.15pm, Berlin-Staaken, Me262, Werk-nr. 164. Instructor: Hauptmann Poller, flighttime 75min. There. 2003:DC:F702:6600:6407:9C86:B8CB:A81F (talk) 13:54, 14 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

There were a few female stunt pilots in Germany during the 1930ies. Not only Beate Uhse, but also Liesel Bach and famous Hanna Reitsch. I will change the text accordingly. Ciao --Pentaclebreaker (talk) 15:37, 27 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

The article says Together with two injured – her son and the nanny – she left embattled Berlin..... This is somewhat ambiguous. And above, there is another query about how many she took with her on the plane. In a film on Youtube by Mark Felton it says she took her son, his nanny, her mechanic friend and two injured soldiers. Does anyone have access to biographical material which might provide an accurate reference? Sbishop (talk) 18:36, 31 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
