source needed, this isn't in BCGNIS
editThere's not even a Beatty placename, e.g. a point or a creek, nearby. Maybe it's a logging company name. A citation is needed to at least prove its existence, and to provide further info; might do well to ask at the Sandspit or Tlell pages, maybe.Skookum1 (talk) 07:38, 24 November 2010 (UTC)

re citing this
editI had a look at this google search, which is for this name, excluding wikipedia, and including the provincial government domain gov.bc.ca and found quite a bit. So it's citable; I'll add the cite from sandspit.bc.ca for now; more history of the camp and its operations and population might be found in the Forests Ministry citations and others that may be in the 122 results of the search.Skookum1 (talk) 15:01, 21 April 2014 (UTC)
