About the principal

edit

The district and the school list different principal names, so please don't put in a name, unless it's verified. --rob 15:12, 7 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

The current Principal is Louis Soucy. --Joe Zasada

French immersion is minor?

edit

If this is minor (as stated by last anon editor), I wish to mention that, but please post a link/reference to the information. Ideally, what percent of students are doing immersion should be stated. --Rob 05:05, 2 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Quality

edit

I went to this school and I know for a fact that it has a wonderful Drama program! Very highly supported by the school. It's an english program but alot of the french students also enjoy it. It's a decent sized school but it has that small town feel- where you know everybody (at least in your grade).

I pulled out the following two sections because there was a citation needed; otherwise I'm sure there is much more factual information that can be posted to this page. --Joe Zasada

Drug problems

edit

In the school year of 2004/2005 it was estimated by school administration that over half of the grade 12 Students were using some form of hard drugs, most popular of which was Cocaine. The School administration then contacted local RCMP, which led to subsequent drug dog searches.[citation needed]

Ecole Secondaire Beaumont Composite High School has recently been undergoing continual and persisent problems with gang and/or cult activity. There have been incidencts of "cult initiation" involving students as young as 13 and as old as 18. There have been numerous unconfirmed reports of the beheading of dogs, the drinking of cow's stomach fluids, and mass tire slashings. Elias Gonzolas former member of the "El Peublos Diablo" gang claims that his initiation into the sect was forever changing. He claimes their leader, or "Pseudonaught" slit the ends of each of his fingers; using Gonzolas's blood to repeatedly draw an unkown cryptic symbol across the foreheads of the other members of the gang. Local RCMP have, as with the aforementioned drug problems, attempted but unfortunately failed to reslove the problem.[citation needed]
